The Greene County boys track team entered their first scored event of the track season at the Winterset Husky Invitational on Friday, April 1. The Rams finished eighth out of 12 teams with 37 points.
Max Neese brought home the only gold medal in the 200-meters. Daric Whipple was second in the 400-meter hurdles.
Results were:
- Shot put – Matthew Gordon 40’ 11”, third
- Shuttle hurdle relay – Tyler Beger, Chase Stoline, Logan Lansman, Bryce Hoyle 1:13, fifth
- 100-meters – Max Neese 11.20, second
- 4×200 relay – Daric Whipple, Lansman, Beger, Neese 1:38.90, fifth
- 200-meters – Neese 23.20, first
- 400-meter hurdles – Whipple 57.30, second
- 4×100 relay – Beger, Stoline, Lansman, Neese 47.30, sixth
